Grande’s Italian Restaurant & Trattoria by Giuseppe & Graziella Luppino is located in the beautiful Donald Ross Village of Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
Graziella and Giuseppe Luppino decided to share their love of food and dining with the world when they opened Grande’s Bella Cucina of Palm Beach Gardens on February 19, 2007. Students of Italian cuisine and dining since childhood, owning their own restaurant has been a dream come true and you can taste their passion in every dish.
If you’ve tasted the Tiramisu or Ricotta Cheesecake, then you are familiar with the work of Grande’s Bella Cucina Executive Pastry Chef Graziella Luppino. Graziella’s parents are Italian immigrants who opened their first restaurant in upstate New York in 1974. At the age of 7, Graziella was already a part of the staff. She took on more responsibilities as she grew older and by the time she graduated college she knew the love of hospitality would never leave her. In particular, she developed a special talent for desserts. Still using her mother and grandmother’s recipes, she prepares all of Grande Bella Cucina’s desserts personally every morning.
Every dish on Grande’s Bella Cucina menu is created from start to finish by Executive Chef Giuseppe Luppino. An alumni of the prestigious Johnson and Wales Culinary school of Rhode Island, Giuseppe was head chef of the original Grande’s Bella Cucina in upstate New York. Giuseppe also studied under Chef Stefano Scala, the private chef of Pope John Paul II. Giuseppe and Graziella decided they were ready to open their kitchen to the world.
What they created is a restaurant with the warmth and personality of a family kitchen with the sophistication and elegance of a first class dining experience. Grande’s Bella Cucina uses only the finest and freshest ingredients, prepared daily. What else would you expect from a restaurant that has no freezers?
Private Room:
Grande’s Bella Cucina features a private dining area perfect for parties, dinners and gatherings of all kinds. Behind large wooden castle doors is seating to accommodate groups of up to 20, with a large plasma screen, pc connection and wireless internet access for business meetings. Speak with the private dining specialist to arrange for special menus and pricing that fits any budget. We are happy to accommodate any request to personalize your experience from placing your corporate logo on the menu, to champagne toasts or specialty homemade cakes. The private room does not carry a rental fee and valet or self parking is available.
Menu Preparation:
It took 2 years for Graziella and Giuseppe Luppino to create Grande’s Bella Cucina menu. They included their own families recipes and made several trips to Sicily to learn the latest and most popular dishes.
Veal Ossobucco is prepared everyday at 1pm and cooks slowly for 6 hours. Fresh Lasagna, Gnocchi & Pastas are prepared from scratch every day. Pomodoro sauce & Bolognese sauce are prepared every morning. Meatballs are prepared every morning with a mixture of fresh ground chuck, filet mignon and veal. Whole fish and meats come in fresh five days a week. Pizza dough is made fresh every morning.
Trattoria & Pizzeria:
Our Trattoria is a Pizzeria, Barkery and Italian Café all in one. Grande’s Trattoria offers fresh pizza, panini, pastas, salads, cakes and cookies. Come in for a cappuccino and desert after dinner or pick up packaged and bottled sauces to take home, or call ahead for takeout. The trattoria catering menu can accommodate parties of 10-200 people.
Desserts:
Desserts displayed in Trattoria are prepared daily by Grande’s Executive Pastry Chef Graziella Luppino. Graziella uses the freshest ingredients for her homemade Tiramisu, Ricotta Cheesecake, New York Style Cheesecake, Apple Strudel, Crème Brulee, Cannoli, Frutta di Bosco, Cherry and Blueberry Pie, Carrot Cake, Chocolate Cake, Strawberry Shortcake, Key Lime Pie, Brownies, Cookies and Biscotti. Specialty cakes are available for any occasion.
